Design Objective:
The objective of POCO SZR is to create a child carrier that could transition seamlessly between everyday use and emergency response, addressing the specific needs of children with fever-induced seizures. Traditional carriers prioritize comfort and load balance but lack provisions for sudden medial events.
By merging Osprey's structural DNA with BOB Gear's suspension technology, this project sought to engineer confidence into the unknown, delivering a product that actively supports the caregiver's ability to respond quickly and calmly in moments of crisis. Every design decision, from frame geometry to fabric selection was guided by the intent to maintain ergonomic comfort while enabling quick access and visibility.
