Inspired by softness and simplicity, the Nuvola Arm Chair is a lounge chair designed to feel as light and inviting as a cloud. The form explores approachable geometry with subtle tension in the surfacing.
The process began with self-directed research and inspiration board, followed by quick concept sketches and 3D studies in Blender. After choosing the form, I built a comprehensive technical package in SolidWorks to bridge the gap between design intent and manufacturing.
The documentation was detailed enough to communicate construction and assembly directly to the factory floor, enabling collaboration on production refinements without requiring engineering support.
